Veterans Administration Healthcare Center Long Beach = 'MUSIC REHAB PROGRAM’
Following on from the successful ‘Rock for Vets’ concert in May 2010, The Rock Club is now ready to incorporate a new music therapy program for the VALB.
SCOPE: The Rock Club vision is to create music classes for Veterans of all ages and gender. Whether they can already play an instrument or can sing or whether they have no ability but have a passion to learn and to meet new people, they are welcome to join.
Music Rehab Program will be run by The Rock Club staff and volunteers to create a safe environment in which to learn: choir, music lessons and theory, drums, guitar, piano and key brass and wind, band coaching, working together, team play and dance.
No matter what the disability, music is the remedy.
