Organization Description:

The first 501(c)3 donation-based yoga studio and cultural center in Long Beach. We are located at 517 Pine Avenue in the heart of downtown. Our mission is to promote yoga, martial arts, fitness and whole life care to our entire community regardless of econimic status.

We are building healthy communities one downward facing dog at a time!

The average yoga class is about $17 and this makes a regular yoga practice for certain low-income members of our community inaccessible. Our donation-based yoga studio ask for a suggested donation of $11, however we turn NO ONE away from a yoga class. Classes include over 4 types of yoga, bellydance, sadhana, prenatal yoga, LGBTQ Yoga & events.

We also offer fee-based Whole Life Care services & workshops that include a range of topics from: Goal Setting to Live a Life You Love, Healthy Tips for the Busy Executive & Entepreneurs, Yogic Nutrition on a Budget, Herbal Living, and Annual 24 HOUR Yoga-thon (2/26/11 will be the 1st ever 24 HOUR Yoga-thon in Long Beach), Workplace Yoga (we send Yogies to your office during lunchtime- increased health = increased productivity).

We are proud to announce that our Healing Arts Center is open! We offer theraputic massage and holistic treatments for affordable rates. You can get a $20 30 minute massage after your yoga class! Come visit our one-stop shop for healthy and well-being so that you can be a radiant and healthy Catalyst in our Long Beach Community!
