Catalyst Positions Available

The Catalyst Network of Communities is a 501c3 nonprofit social impact organization working to help people and groups to connect, collaborate, and share resources. We are a rapidly growing organization and therefore we are building infrastructure to support our growth.

We are currently accepting applications and resumes for the volunteer internship positions listed below. All positions are unpaid for the first 6 months. Upon completion of the internship, a nominal stipend may be offered for continued service which could also potentially lead to consistent paid compensation to those who demonstrate commitment and interest in the organization as well as acceptable work performance. All service hours will be logged and eligible for time credits in the Long Beach Time Exchange, Orange County Time Bank, or any other participating time bank in the Southern California region.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.

To apply, send email to eric.leocadio@gocatalyst.org with the following:

1. In an attached document, include your basic contact information including your full name, address, phone number and email address. Include a web site if you have one.

2. A one page written biography describing your interests in community building and creating social impact. A description of your past involvement with Catalyst or any other non-profit organization, social enterprise, or socially-conscious business or activity.

3. On a second page, include two to three paragraphs indicating the specific position(s) that you are interested in, your background qualifications, and why you think you'd be a good fit with Catalyst. We suggest you browse through the About Us section of this web site.

4. Optional: You may also submit a resume, though not required.

No deadline. Apply now. Acceptable applications will be invited for an interview.

Accepted Interns should have some base qualifications for the position, however, much of the work will or can be on-the-job training and learning. Interns will receive support and coaching. This could be a good context for those wanting to learn new skills, enhance their resume or portfolio, or get involved to become one of the Catalyst staff.
