Housing Long Beach (HLB) is a community organizing group that was formed in 2002. HLB organizes dozens of community-based institutions and hundreds of low income families to build leadership skills and engage in coordinated affordable housing organizing and advocacy in Long Beach. HLB’s mission is to preserve and increase the supply of affordable housing for Long Beach residents, as well as work on other issues that improve the quality of life for low-income people.
