Green Wisdom Herbal Studies is a community dedicated to keeping the spirit and art of traditional herbal medicine alive. Our goal is to serve as a local resource for education and networking in the Southern California herb community, and we are dedicated to teaching traditional herbalism with respect for the history, teachings and integrity of Traditional Medicines.
Herbs will be respected as a viable healing modality when people are given good information; not from TV, Big Pharma, Mass Media, Manufacturer Marketing or other suspect sources, but from the four directions of Tradition, Science, Personal Experience, and Intuition. We seek to encourage growth in all of these directions by learning from historical usage, from well-designed clinical studies, from each other, and from the plants themselves.
