Catalyst Brunch: FEB 7
 Join us on February 7th from 11am - 2pm and every first Sunday each month for fun and mimosas!

Pedal Movement Meeting: FEB 8
 Things are rapidly progressing and there's lots of work to do! Pedal Movement just secured a rent-free space for the new Bike Co-op (thanks to partnership with Hancock University Art & Design Center, facilitated by LBCreative!).
This is going to be a great space for the cycling community to come and maintain/repair their bikes, for beginning bicyclists of all ages to learn hands-on bike basics and then earn a bike to keep, and for people to connect for various cycling activities. It's a really great space! Plans for Grand Opening are geared for April!
Come on by to the monthly meeting, Monday, Feb. 8th at 5pm to the new and developing Bike Co-op space at the corner of Long Beach Blvd and Esther Street just south of PCH. If you would like to help get the Bike Co-op up and ready for the public, email graham.baden@gocatalyst.org.

Green Long Beach! Assembly: FEB 16
 It's time once again to bring together all of the various parts of the green community. Join us on Tuesday, Feb. 16th at 6:30pm at The Peace Garden, 440 Cherry Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90814 for the next Green Long Beach! Assembly.
This will be a time of regrouping, reconnecting, and re-mobilizing so that we can all collaborate together for more effective impact in 2010. We'll also continue plans for this year's 2nd Annual Green Long Beach! Festival.

Backwards in High Heels: FEB 23 - March 21
 Enjoy amazing theater AND help raise funds for Catalyst!
Catalyst Community is proud to partner with International City Theatre, your award-winning professional regional theater. Check out their newest production of "Backwards in High Heels" (The Ginger Musical) running February 23rd through March 21st.
Through the "ICT Gives Back" program, Catalyst will get $5 from every ticket sold and $20 from every subscription. Plan a date or group outing and help Catalyst!

Catalyst Excursions: FEB 27
 Experience Long Beach in a creative way! Take an excursion through various parts of the city that showcase local art, history, and people!
Our first excursion on Saturday, Feb. 27th, we'll be visiting local art murals, learning about the background and history of those sites, meeting artists, and creating a mural of our own. Plan to join us on this excursion with your friends and even meet new ones! Wear walking shoes and casual clothes that you don't mind getting a lil paint on! Suggested donation: $15.
