Grant Writing Workshop Saturday 9/17 & 9/24

It's time for those wonderful Saturday mornings all you grant writers! Karen is not only amazing at her job but she's an excellent teacher too, those are only a couple of reasons to take her class...the rest you will wait to hear in person...like how do you start a Non-Profit, what grants can artists get, can anyone get a grant? The answers will for sure surprise you and besides what's a few hours on a couple of Saturday mornings to maybe jumpstart your new found passion? Did I mention these classes are FREE! Yes, Karen is generously donating her invaluable time to teach all the tools of the trade and more! You wont want to miss out on this months grant writing class!

Grant Writing Workshop

It's that time again! If you've been wanting to learn how to write a grant or polish up on your skills our resident Grant Writer extraordinaire is offering a workshop FREE of charge! Yes, that's right, it's free and all you need to bring is yourself, of course your questions and the rest Karen has covered. This month the class is a bit different, instead of it being split up on two Saturdays the entire 6 hour class is taking place this Saturday July 30th... from 8am-11am the class will be held at Catalyst Space 430 E. First St and the second half of the class from 11:30am-2:30pm will be held at the ArtExchange Annex located at 340 East Third St. You may attend both sessions or just one it's totally up to you! Grant Writing Workshop

Have you always been interested in grant writing but didn't know where to start? I've got just the person for you! Our resident Grant Writer Karen Reside is offering a workshop FREE of charge, all you need to bring is your enthusiastic self, and of course your questions! No Prior experience needed, Karen will start at the beginning to help you find funding for your programs and learn what it takes to develop a grant writing strategy. Class consists of six hours over two Saturday mornings from 8:00am - 10:45 am on June 18 and June 25 at the Catalyst Space at 430 East First Street.  The class is free but please pre-register. Also check out the website www.resideandassociates.com for grant writing support and information. Grant Writing Class With Karen Reside

Have you been wishing you could find the money to work on that art project that you've been wanting to do? Have you been trying to find a way to become more involved or to contribute more to the nonprofit you work for? Karen's Grant Writing Classes might be just what you need! 

This free, six hour class over two Saturdays teaches you where to find grants and how to prepare a fundable application. The first class meets this Saturday, February 19th from 8am-11am and the second class meets on Saturday February 26th from 8am-11am at the Catalyst Space 430 E 1st Street Long Beach, CA. Open House for Karen Reside's Grant Writing Business

Food and drinks will be served on Thursday, October 7th from 6-8pm as Karen Reside hosts an open house for her grant writing business at the Catalyst Space, 430 E. 1st Street.  Her hours are Tuesday through Thursday from noon to five and she is available for consultation.  Sign up to take free grant writing classes and join a grant writing support group.  Find money for a nonprofit you work with or art project you have longed to do.  Karen can be reached at karenreside@ymail.com, 562-331-4055, or at the Catalyst Space.
