Financial Readiness for Streamlined Grant-Seeking Workshop

Long Beach Nonprofit Partnership

Would you benefit from a streamlined grant-seeking and financial reporting system?   Collaborative Partners, Kathy Walsh of NFM Solutions, LLC, and Karen Reside of Reside & Associates, along with their colleague, Jinhong Zhang, CPA, are presenters at this workshop designed to help nonprofit organizations set-up financial systems to make grant-seeking and reporting much easier.   Learn about the abundance of grants available and the full cycle of ongoing streamlined grant-seeking, and how to design an integrated grant reporting and financial operating system through a reverse design process and team approach.  This session will also cover the Unified Chart of Accounts developed by the National Center for Charitable Statistics, and leaders from the California Society of CPAs and California Association of Nonprofits, to assist nonprofit organizations in translating their current financial statements into the reporting categories required by the IRS Form 990, the Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB A-122) and other standard reporting formats.

Date/Time-  February 1, 2012, 9:00am – 12:00pm
