What happens when Bobby Kimball (Original Lead Singer of TOTO) wants to help our Veterans and current service members? Well, he performs in the Far East to entertain our Troops. Bobby Kimball is just one of those ‘Rockers’ that want to help. Now he is also going to help closer to home, with a few of his friends.
On Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Scottish Rite Event Center (newly named Ernest Borgnine Theatre) from 4pm-7pm on 855 Elm Street, Long Beach 90813, the second annual ‘Rock for Vets 2’ Benefit Concert will take place.
Please come and watch Bobby Kimball with Rick Latham (BB King, Edgar Winter & Juice Newton) and the All Stars, Jerry Salas (El Chicano), Manny Lagod (Don Ho), The Rock for Vets Music Therapy Bands (which are made up of Veterans of all ages and abilities), some local great artists and surprise guests as they perform live on stage. This benefit concert will provide additional musical equipment, coaching for the next year and the opportunity for more Veterans to benefit from the Music Therapy Program.
In addition, we have teamed up with Mobile Green, a mobile phone exchange company that is providing The Rock Club – Rock For Vets Music Therapy Program with some greatly needed funding. So donate your unused mobile phone, today or at the door.
All tickets are only $25, open seating and limited tickets available. Purchase tickets or ‘Donate Tickets for Veterans’ now at www.therockclub.net.
We realize that you have a choice of who you support throughout the year. Please join us in this great collaboration to make this event a huge success. Please contact Frank McIlquham, director of The Rock Club (866) 597-1116 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Let us all join together on this project to make ‘Rock For Vets 2’ a huge success. Please make a difference today for one of our Veterans tomorrow.
