“Center Space” is a place for residents within the community to regularly come together for connection, partnership, and the sharing of resources. Every Saturday, we'll have a certified farmers market, hot food vendors, zumba, soccer clinics, exercise classes, yoga for both adults and kids, interactive workshops, music, and entertainment. Monthly or quarterly, we'll also have health and dental screenings for the community.

The wacky and offbeat Found Theatre attracts like-minded artists....like Dorothy Spirus, the winner of our $9.99 Theatre Festival a few years ago, and the creator of a sold-out, one-woman show on our stage: Children of a Lesser Goddess.
Dorothy's finely tuned comic mind (think phased camshafts, variable valve timing, electronic ignition) never rests, and she's back in high gear with a new show called The Secret Key, a life-affirming comedy about giving up. As life coach Leslie G. Eggleston, she guides her motivating seminar and at the same time unlocks the door to her own life's mystery.
Do you know where you hid your key? Is your full potential under a potted plant? In a magnetic box on the underside of your bumper? Are you that obvious? You'll have to attend The Secret Key to find out!

Would you benefit from a streamlined grant-seeking and financial reporting system? Collaborative Partners, Kathy Walsh of NFM Solutions, LLC, and Karen Reside of Reside & Associates, along with their colleague, Jinhong Zhang, CPA, are presenters at this workshop designed to help nonprofit organizations set-up financial systems to make grant-seeking and reporting much easier. Learn about the abundance of grants available and the full cycle of ongoing streamlined grant-seeking, and how to design an integrated grant reporting and financial operating system through a reverse design process and team approach. This session will also cover the Unified Chart of Accounts developed by the National Center for Charitable Statistics, and leaders from the California Society of CPAs and California Association of Nonprofits, to assist nonprofit organizations in translating their current financial statements into the reporting categories required by the IRS Form 990, the Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB A-122) and other standard reporting formats.
Date/Time- February 1, 2012, 9:00am – 12:00pm

Hank Mobley stands out as one of the most revered tenor saxophonist and composers of the hard-bop era in jazz. Mobley’s style was laid-back, subtle, and melodic, especially in contrast to players like Sonny Rollins and John Coltrane. The outstanding musicians of the Luckman Jazz Orchestra, conducted by Charles Owens, will honor Hank Mobley’s great contributions to jazz by playing newly arranged renditions of his music.
