How to Become a Collaborative Partner

Step 1:  Affirm the Common Community Values:

  • Building RELATIONSHIPS - we believe that intentional connections that foster authenticity and understanding enhance the peaceful climate of our community.
  • Establishing PARTNERSHIP - we believe that the strategic partnerships of individuals and organizations in collaboration towards a common interest make us more effective in our community.
  • Inspiring GROWTH - we believe that experiencing a broader understanding of ourselves, the community, and our world enhances our potential.
  • Encouraging CONTRIBUTION - we believe that the strategic sharing of resources and the active participation of residents giving back to their community is the most effective way of addressing our practical and tangible needs.

This serves as our common ground. As diverse as our community can be, we can say that every collaborative partner in the Network shares these values. This makes working with each other that much more simpler!

Step 2: Let Us Know that You Want to Become a Collaborative Partner

Click here and fill out this form to let us know that you want to become a collaborative partner in the Network. Provide the following:

  • Indicate that you affirm the Common Community Values.
  • Tell us which collaborative community you affiliate with.
  • Tell us a little about yourself and your group or business. No, this isn’t an application process! We just want to know who you are so that we can refer people to you.
  • Give us your name, email address, and web site info so that we can put it up on our web site.
  • When you've submitted the form, click here to go to our File Drop Box where you can upload your logo so that we can put it up on our web site too!

Step 3: Put our links and logos up on your web site and place of business.

Let’s reciprocate our exchange of web site links and logos. We’ll put yours on ours; you put ours on yours! As you travel the Network, look for the Catalyst logo and you know that they too share the same Common Community Values!

Once you send us your email (step 2), we’ll send you our info and logo.

Step 4: Provide Value to Other Collaborative Partners and Members of the Network

Find ways of acknowledging other collaborative partners or members that you come in contact with. You could:

  • Cross-promote events, activities, resources, and services offered by other partners. Ask them to do the same!
  • Provide a discount or some kind of incentive for partners and members of the Network utilizing your products and services.
  • Do business with a partner and pay full market rate then ask the partner to sponsor a collaborative project or to make a donation to Catalyst.
  • Collaborate with other partners and members in the Network on a project, activity, event, or fund raiser. Do something together!

Step 5: Be Open to Gathering Together to Meet Others in the Network

  • Plan to gather with us once per year with other collaborative partners when we host an Assembly of the Catalyst Network of Communities. That’s when everyone brings everyone . . . it’s going to be cool!
  • Plan to gather quarterly with your affiliated collaborative(s) to connect with partners that specifically share your common interests.
